I have lived here for 11 months. It all started first week of move in.

BURGLARY

There was a break-in to the next apartment. I just felt that it could have happened to me and a bit frightened until it happened to me about five months later. Surprisingly, all the houses that I know and can see were broken into. Once it happens to you, you lose all the privacy you have. Your house is no different from the street. You know it is accessible easily. Then you start hearing all the small, tiny noises, all the cars parked driven by etc. I wish it ended with this.

SCORPIONS

Our second problem was the insects of course. Scorpions all over. We told this to the management. They said they were going to take care of it. We insisted to be at home when they come so that we can show them the places they come from and be sure that they really took care of it. They didn't call us back. We called them more than 4 times that day I remember. Another day we caught one and took it to the office. Somebody at the management said she had scorpions at home too. What a relief it was (!)

MANAGEMENT AND OWNER

We wanted to break the lease. Not only was it impossible but also not negotiable. Under that circumstances they say you need to talk to the owner. We didn't sign the lease with the owner. Never seen that person, never talked to him or never were able to get his phone number. You sign the lease with management but they call the owner card always even for removing a pile of dirt behind your house. They do such a lousy business.

APPLIANCES

All appliances are old except from the refrigirator. So you can imagine that everything is noisy and dirty and comsumes a lot of electricity. High electricity bill compensate the lower rent and not worth to destroy your health and all your clothes.

CONSTRUCTION

They did several construction activities for the roof, doors. I don't know why they did these and how we benefited from these. It didn't seem to help my seeing scorpions crawling right under the front door in my presence. That means these are holes. Or the next neighbour's burglary from the behind window. You can see the damages in all the window screens by the thieves if they don't change it in the meantime.

NO NOTICE

They did all the constructions without giving us a notice. You never know if a stranger is inside your house that day or not. Once I walked in my house, there was somebody working inside but front door was all open. How can I know that I can trust this person. Here is the question to the management: If it is your own house would you do that' Leave your house to a construction person.

One morning I woke up and washed my face. All of a sudden I realized it was mud not water, because they were doing construction and made a mistake. Here is the exact words from the management when I inquired how come they didn't inform us not to use water: "it was just a little dirt" and also she suggested to run the water for a while and use it.

HERE IS MY SUGGESTION: STAY AWAY AND STAY HEALTHY.
Everybody deserves a peaceful sleep.
