I highly recommend Cross Creek for many, many reasons.

It's a quiet area and there's always parking directly in front of our apartment.

It's also close enough to walk to the bus stop for Athens Transit #12 to UGA.

Our monthly rent is much better than other places in town.

All the units have a washer and dryer.

About half the tenants are students and half are couples or families.

To address some of the other reviews on this site: We've lived here four years and haven't had any issues with bugs.

Ownership changed in summer of 2007, and management also changed in the past year.

This is the best the management has ever been - always timely and great communication.

The maintenance staff is very friendly and always responds to work orders within a day or two.

Work orders can be placed on line any time of day.

The staff often go beyond what I would expect, such as replacing our air filters.

They always let us know ahead of time when they are coming into the apartments for any reason.

The office manager is an energetic guys who is always willing to help with anything we need.

The salt water swimming pool is awesome.

It is never crowded, always well maintained, and a great place to spend a weekend.

The grounds are always manicured and continually well kept.

The tenants are friendly and you get the neighborhood feel that other apartment complexes don't have.

We go on walks with our neighbors and always have a door to knock on if we have car trouble.

One of the things we love most about Cross Creek is the amount of outdoor space we have.

The apartments aren't stacked on top of each other; there's a huge grassy area and we have a great patio.

We can grill and sit out back when we get home from work.

We have lots of space behind our building and never feel cramped.

Out front is a faucet we use to wash our cars with in the summer.

At Cross Creek you never have to worry about tiptoeing around the apartment or hearing your upstairs neighbors exercise at two in the morning.

None of the apartments have an upstairs or downstairs neighbor, and the walls between the apartments are thick enough that we never hear anyone.

We have a baby, and neither of our neighbors have ever heard her cry.

I feel completely safe in and around the apartment, even when I'm home by myself.

There is a police officer that lives in the complex and patrols the area often, by car and on foot.

His patrol car is parked out front all night.

Like I mentioned, everyone is really friendly, and knowing your neighbors adds to the security of any neighborhood.

There are also security systems in each apartment, which we recently activated.

If you're looking for a place to live, I highly recommend Cross Creek! It's a fun, safe, quiet place to call home.
