I have lived at the Fairways for almost six months and have found it to be an extremely enjoyable experience. I am a graduate student at UGA and wanted to move away from campus to a quieter community, and that is exactly what the Fairways is. Most of the residents are either young families or older retired couples and a few graduate students and is a very pleasant place to live with very friendly neighbors and office staff.

The walls are thin and you can sometimes hear your neighbors but that is true of any apartment complex. Whenever we had a maintenance problem, we would let the office staff know and someone would be there the same day or the next day to fix the problem and they were extremely pleasant and professional. The office will also call a day or two later to make sure the problem is really fixed.

I unfortunately have to move soon because I got a job in Atlanta, but wish I could stay here longer because this was a great living experience and I doubt I will find another apartment complex with all the qualities of this one that I value, such as safety, professional staff, friendly neighbors, and such a nice apartment at a great price.

If you are looking for a nice quiet apartment away from the craziness of college students, this is by far the best place you will find in Athens.
