I have been a resident now for 3 years at The Fairways and I am consistently impressed with their attention to customer service. The apartment homes are by far the best in Athens. The bathrooms are, without a doubt, extraordinary. Above the physical advantages and perhaps more importantly, this complex and the staff here have an exceptional commitment to service. From the maintenance/grounds crew to the office staff to the property manager. I recently moved from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom and both Sharon and Lisa did everything they could to make my transition as seamless as possible. When looking for a place to call your home in Athens, this team provides you the attention, care, and courtesy we all desire. There is a refreshingly distinctive attention to their customers, both new and old!
Thank you to all the staff of The Fairways, I'm proud to call this complex my home.

This is obviously written by someone who works in the office. I wouldn't say the bathrooms are terrible by any means, but I wouldn't go so far as to say they are extraordinary. And anyone who's signed a lease here, and I mean ANYONE, would laugh at hearing that the staff has "an exceptional commitment to service." Unless you count losing faxes, never getting back to you on anything, giving the run around whenever you call the office or simply refusing to do what they're supposed to an "exceptional commitment to service." Nice try.

Actually, I do not work for The Fairways. I am a current resident and professional in the Athens area. I have a doctorate and am responsible for providing my own professional business with high standards in customer service. Given my professional life, I consequently have great expectations in the realm of customer service. Regardless of your personal experiences, this was mine. Please respect my opinion of the staff and complex which is reflective of how I was treated. I have no secondary gain from this reflection yet I know that MANY people only respond when there are negative outcomes, specifically in attempt to defame the other party. I realize and value the importance of providing positive feedback when warranted and in this situation I felt it was. To those reading these reviews, mine is one of many but it is genuinely how I feel regarding my time here (3 years). Thus, it is important for you to compile the reviews and make your own decision. Obviously, there are differing opinions. Perhaps it is best to establish your own perception.
