Not worth the price you pay!!

Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2002
I lived in a one bedroom and it was spacious, but there were always bugs and I called on many many occasions to spray and they rarely would. The first year I lived there, they cut water off to the entire complex at least 4 times and once it was for over 12 hours. The management is TERRIBLE. I cannot even count the number of managers and staff that came through in the time that I lived there. One month, they began charging us for trash pick up (there is an on-sight compactor) and they did not notify us or make amendments to our contracts, it just appeared on our monthly water statement.
My neighbors above me turned on their air conditioner for the first time at the beginnng of one summer and due to the poor construction, water from their A/C leaked into my apt. I called maintence and they tried to tell me the water was coming from MY WASHER and that it wasn't their problem. So after about a month (and my brother who was in town to visit threatening them), they came back and I showed them that the leak was coming from the ceiling. The leak damaged my entire laundry room area and my coat closet. It stained the kitchen floor and they had waited so long to do anything about it that mold was growing on the walls.
Amenities were not the greatest either. The pool was constantly shut down. The "fitness center" consisted of an 80's nautilus gym, an excercise bike and ONE treadmill that was broken for at least 8 months. There is a laundry room and they painted it BLOOD RED while I lived there. I think it was to show UGA spirit, but the complex always prided themselves on not allowing undergrads to rent from them -- which is totally false. The one positive thing I can say is that they were always nice to my dog.
But all in all, my apartment was WAY too expensive for the service and treatment by the staff.
