Nice, Safe Place to Live

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008
I graduated from grad school last year and got a job teaching nearby. I didn't want to live in a party animal complex, and High Ridge has been a great fit. I've lived here for the past year and have been very happy. Yes, the kitchen is outdated, but it's not that big of a deal once you get your own stuff in there. The plumbing in the bathroom is slow to drain and easy to clog. The worst thing is the high prices. I think they should compensate for some of the outdatedness with a severe price decrease.
The ladies in the office or more than helpful and have always treated me great. I actually had squirrels get into the attic above my apartment, and they worked hard to solve the problem even when they were very tricky critters to get rid of. No matter how many times I called, they didn't act frustrated like some people can get!
If you make more money than a first year teacher like myself, though, I definitely recommend High Ridge. Another really great thing is that the upstairs units have fireplaces and built-in bookshelves, so it really makes the place look like a home. The pool is awesome, the grounds are pretty, and the space in a one bedroom simply cannot be beat. I'm leaving this summer, so I'm looking for somewhere else to live. It's extremely hard, though, to find somewhere that has this much room.
