I have lived here for almost 4 years. A little over 2 years of old management and a year and a half of the new. Neither were/are that great. The current owners knew when they acquired the place that a lot of renovating had to be done, and they started off good, but soon decided that it was costing them too much. So the renovations have not only come to almost a complete halt, but they are saying they may not invest anymore in the renovations for a year or two. Thus, those who currently live in old apartments are just out of luck. The maintenance is horrible. The office prides itself on being able to say that maintenance wastes no time getting to your apartment, usually same day. Well, for the first year some things were done, and others never were even with repeated requests. While maintenance is doing better about being timely, they are doing no better at actually fixing things. What good is it for you to show up the same day to fix something when you are going to have to come back three or four times to re-fix it because you failed to do so the first two or three times' The management generally has a "don?t care, but I?ll be polite so you think I do" attitude. What?s even worse is that management and maintenance often pretend to be very knowledgable about problems and situations, when they in reality have no clue. Which I suppose works on other people who have no clue, but it irrates those of us who know that they are making up stuff off the top of their head. Would I recommend' Previously I would have said "yes, just be patient," but now I say "no, find a better way to spend your money."
