I lived at Laurel Oaks for 1 year. At first, i thought things were okay, very clean, inexpensive, big apartment. Then everything went downhill. I got robbed two nights before Christmas, the management was not very sympathetic, and I basically had to beg to be able to move to a different unit. Three other apartments were robbed that night, numerous on other occassions. My plumbing backed up numerous times (literally, I had feces backing up into the bathtubs), and the guy "on call" never called back when I paged him. Management was pretty unfriendly. Definitely not a safe place to live if you live alone. It is worth it to spend more money at a different unit! Do NOT live here!
