It was a blast living here.(hahaha) I felt liked I moved into a Ammityville or some other house of horror. The sinks oozed blood haha. I enjoyed having to cook, clean and drink red water. I enjoyed throwing my washing machine away because it was destroyed by the red water. I enjoyed being sick with mysterious stomach viruses and colds while living here. I enjoyed cleaning up vomit and diarrhea from my dogs after they would drink the tainted water. I enjoyed having to bury my cat after she died from a baterial infection from the dirty water. I told management over and over again that the water was dirty and all they would say is "oh its safe to drink its just rust."

I was never lonely I always had critters to keep me company at night. I enjoyed having to spray my apartment so much with bug spray, to keep the population of cockroaches, spiders and fruit flies under control, that I almost died myself. The walls would leak. There was always water coming in when it rained. I liked the fact that there was mold growing in between my carpet because the air condition was leaking water and maintenance never fixed it. I bet it is still leaking to this day. Then one day half my electricity worked in my apartment. I didn't having working lights for a week on one side of the apartment. The maintenance guy almost cooked himself when he tried to fix it.(dumb a$$ you do not stick metal in a electrical socket)

I like that fact one day maintenance just walks up in my apartment while I am sitting there and never told me they were coming. If my husband was home he would have shot them. I always heard bumps in the night, usually some neighbor slamming their door or fighting. I was always kept up on the newest albums because I would hear the locals playing their music as loud as they can at 2am in the morning. I enjoy being woke up on a saturday morning at 7am to the sound of vacuum cleaners being ran and hitting up against my front door.

I enjoyed taking my dogs out to walk and being attacked by killer bees living in the trees right by apartment. I was always hoping when I left out of my apartment that I would make it to my car safely. You never know when you would be a victim of a robbery or driveby.

I was able to escape from this house of horror but some us were so lucky. If you enjoy doing these things then Laurel Jokes... I mean Oaks is the place for you. Don't waste your time you would be better off living out of your car then to live here.

omg i had the exact same experiences back when i lived there and it was called "Villa East". glad to know i wasn't the only one, but sorry you had to go through what i had to go through (and many others it seems like).
