Not a typical Athens Apartment complex

I moved to Athens to attend UGA and lived in the dorms first year. Then went to a typical college apartment complex and lived there for two years. Those two years were filled with loud thumping and parties round the clock. My fiance and I decided to find a better place and we literally stumbled upon Legacy Mill.
Legacy Mill is filled with young professionals, serious students, and small families. It is a gated LUXURY apartment HOME complex. The kitchen is beautiful with all white GE appliances and the bathroom is to die for. There is more than enough storage space as well since there is a hall closet, a pantry in the kitchen, a walk in closet in both rooms, a linen closet in both bathrooms, and a huge storage closet off of the balcony.
As far as safety and parking, there is more than enough parking available and there are garages if you want coverage for your vehicle. The community is very safe. The only concern I ever had was that the flood lights over the grassy area next to my building went out and it was dark when I was walking my dog and I went to the club house and told them and that night when I was taking my dog for his walk the area was well lit.
The staff know everyone's name which is something small but makes you feel special. They do special things for the holidays and send out monthly news letters with recipes and announcements. The club house is always stocked with yummy treats every day. My favorite thing about the staff is that when we were trying to move in and see the actual unit we were going to get they wouldn't let us until they did their "white glove" inspection on the baseboards. And yes, they literally do!
I would absolutely recommend Legacy Mill to anyone looking for quality living in Athens Georgia. I am a criminal justice major at UGA and did my internship with the ACCPD and learned the the zone that Legacy Mill is in is literally the safest, crimefree zone in all of Clarke county. If UGA had accepted me to their Law program I would have remained here for another three years but I am unfortunately relocating.
