Of course my apartment looked nothing like the show-apartment, but I didn't expect a filthy carpet (stains everywhere - they should have put new carpet in, but too cheap, I suppose) and smelled of pets. No TV reception here, so you'd better plan to pay for cable. Track lighting in kitchen looks fancy initially, but didn't provide enough light to cook/wash dishes. No lights in living room/bedroom, and the door never really seemed locked (cheap door/lock). Management is bad - they have fake smiles initially but are not very helpful once you've signed the dotted lines, except to complain about one thing or another (they don't like the "look" of your patio furniture, or what you've got on your balcony - they love to patrol in the golfcart and make citations). Not to mention the waivers you have to sign (any security problems/broken gates/vehicle damage because of THEIR gate - they're not responsible). As mentioned, you can hear easily what goes on with your neighbors, both through walls and through windows/patio door. No ceiling fan (it gets warm/stuffy quickly in summer). I didn't renew my lease - I don't reccomend this place despite the cheap rent and low move-in fees. With all that space they've got, they still want to make money by charging $80/month for covered parking and $50 (non-refundable) for a gate remote (which you have to give back). Pay a little more initially for a better quality apartment and breathe a lot easier.
