Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004
I have lived at Legacy Mills since July of 2004. All the post about the walls being paper thin are absolutely true. You can hear your neighbors and everything that is happening outside. I do not hear very many parties though. I believe most of my neighbors are serious students or young professionals. However, we had a single mother living below us who can be a pain.
The apartment complex is well taken care of but the gate is also a joke. It was left open for about three weeks straight after we moved in. Also if you notice on the tour they just barely open the fitness door because there isn't anything in there. I started to lift weights but then realized there is NOTHING to exercise your shoulders or your chest in the room. Most of the treadmills don't work either. I used the recumbent bike for a while but it quickly got old and it clangs so it?s annoying at higher speeds.
People don't clean up after their dogs here either. I constantly step in poop while walking my dog, which annoys me since the only reason I'm walking in the grass is to clean up my dogs poop.
I haven't had a lot of dealings with the management. I did report the tennis lights being out for several days. They never called me back but they are working now so I assume someone fixed something. I have several things that need to be fixed that I'm calling about today so I'll be sure to update.
