Legacy Mill

 

I currently live at Legacy Mill and have lived here a year now.

I love it here.

My experience with the management has been very good.

I have even had to call after hours for an emergency leak, and the person on call came out within the hour to fix it.

I live on the first floor and frequently see dog owners leave their lovable pets waste around, however that is no fault of the apartment complex.

I have seen the grounds crew come out many times picking up the waste, and would like to point out the number of dog disposals and bags the complex provides the owners.

Also, the problem has been mentioned in the monthly newsletter that is placed outside our doors and people being caught would be fined.

My apartment was spotless when I came in and has stayed very clean.

There have not been any bugs (amazingly living on the first floor) inside our outside, and although my above neighbors are noisey, its an apartment complex, it will happen.

The only real problem is the fire alarms going off every time I cook.

They are very sensitive.

Bathrooms get moldy, that is what happens when there is a lot of water in a place.

To fix that, of course the maintence wouldn't clean it.

That is part of your responsibility as an adult cleaning your bathroom.

Put bleach on it, it will kill it.

However, it will come back.

That is what happens.

Now, accusations have been made about posting fake reviews.

I assure you that I live in this apartment complex and do not work for the complex in any way.

I am a school teacher and will hate to move this summer.

I am moving not because I am unhappy, but I am moving to graduate housing at UGA.

If this was not the case, I would have gladly signed my lease again, and probably would have until I bought a house.

My experience here is that if you are an adult, who understands how the world works and what it means to be responsible for yourself and where you live, than they will not bother you.

I have never been fined, I have never been bothered, and I knew about the rules, possible fines, and even how to give notice about moving because they went over this with me when I signed my contract, and I still have the paper work in a file that I review when I have a questions (that is why they go over it with you, you initial that they did and you understand what they went over, and then give you a copy to keep for your records).
