As a third year resident here at the Reserve at Athens, I am highly impressed and without a doubt I can say that I love it here. (Perhaps that is why I have lived here for three years!) As I read some of the other responses, I felt compeled to say something. Since I lived here, I have not had a problem with my apartments. I mean when I moved, I was expecting to re-clean my apartment anyway! So as far as it being dirty, that was not the case. And the gates do work! Most importantly they keep people safe. If and when the gates are open, it is because a resident broke them or tried to jump them. I have been to neighboring properties and their gates have been open as well! The staff here are great and they really look out for the residents. I highly recommend the Reserve at Athens.
