I decided to live here b/c it is very close to campus and walking distance to downtown...that's the only good thing about it. The apartments are old, the floors creek very badly and you can hear the people around you walking around in their apartments...it sounds like they are in yours! There are little things that show the apartments were built in a hurry or either people didn't take the time to make sure everything was up to par...like all of the electrical sockets are upside down,there are cold water knobs on the hot water side of the faucets, the toilets bubble up everytime you flush them, and the walls look like they have been painted over 20 times.
Another thing that has been VERY annoying is the parking. My roommate and I have to park our cars one behind the other so that we block each other in. Its very frustrating not being able to go somewhere because your roommate is in class and can't move her car so you can get out. However, not all parking spaces are like this, we got stuck with this kind for some reason. Oh, and the spaces are so close together you have to squeeze out of your car. Another parking problem is with visitor spaces. We have nick named the security guy "The Parking ----" because he is all in your friends' business everytime they want to visit you and park...make sure they come early since the spaces fill up fast and they won't be able to park where you live.
I hate to sound negative so I will bring up a two other good points: the staff is very friendly and the maintenance is speedy.
