I'm an extremely studious grad student and I've lived here for the one year. The rumor mill has it that this is a party complex, but even on gamedays, the people keep to thier apartments and the buildings are incredibly soundproofed. Parking is great, especially for the residents. There are numbered parking spots, so there's always a place when you come home, and visitor parking. However, if you have someone over for gameday, book your spot 2 weeks in advance... or you'll be sorry. As for the management, the local office is more than helpful and ver friendly. They do all they can to help you out. As far as the Lane Corporation and corporate, they are horrible. They will never write/call/email you back on any issue whether it be easy or legal. The apartment above me had a broken toilet that flooded (clean, thank goodness) water into my apt. for over 12 hours. The resident wasn't home all day, and by the time the water found its way into the floor, my apartment was gushing from every hole, vent, outlet in a part of the apartment. The management locally was extremely helpful, but it took me over a month to have repairs completed and corporate refused to move me. I ended up getting a break on rent for only one month. Other than that, the staff was friendly, and I walk to school everyday. The stadium is on the other side of the parking lot, and central campus is a 5 minute walk. I walk downtown, as well, except when it rains. This is a great place to live. If you have a one bedroom, don't expect a dishwasher, and almost none of the rooms here have W/D hookups, but a safe coin laundry thing is just a door away on the complex.
