I've been living at Riverbend Club for a year and a half and I LOVE it! The apartments are cute, and if you sign your lease early enough, you can request a top floor with vaulted ceilings! They are also extremely affordable.
The management and staff are very friendly, and if there's ever a problem, it is fixed quickly. For example, our thermostat stopped working, and within 20 minutes of telling them about the problem, they had replaced it!
The location is great, too: it's less than a 5 minute drive from campus and the east side. It's on the Athens bus line if you don't have a parking pass.

this post sounds like it was written by the management haha. and yes, they will find something to screw you with no matter how RESPONSIBLE you are.

they told me i was one of their best tenants and i actually worked for them one a few occasions so i could learn move out and move in proceedure....and they signed us out and didnt write anything down....NOTHING and then we got a bill two months later! they threatened to take me to court! sooo....when they do screw you over and they will...turn them into bbb.org....

This was definitely written by the management staff. Someone needs to stop there slumlord ways. They will charge you for items that they have charged every other tenant for and never repaired. If they damage anything of yours they tell you to claim it on your insurance.

Wow! Is the management actually dumb enough to think that people wouldn't know they wrote this?!? I got a good laugh out of this comment. This roach infested dump should be condemned!!! I would like to meet the person who wrote this...oh wait, just go to the leasing office!!!

I promise this isn't the management - I'm really extremely happy living at Riverbend Club. Then again, I haven't tried moving out, which seems to be the issue. Unfortunately, I can't really comment about how moving out was because I'm still here... I'll write again with an update in 9 months. Thanks for the warnings!

I really do pity you the fact that you still have to deal with these people and their lack of ethics and that you are obviously delusional in thinking Riverbend is a great place to live! No amount of "responsibility" will get you moved out of there unscathed. We were stellar tenants, they even told us so, but that didn't stop them from forging legal documents after move out. Just because your move out goes smoothly, don't assume that you're home free. Wait a couple of months until they figure out how much more money they need to make off of their former tenants and you'll get a bill for some made-up problem! Good luck!

this review is so laughable. The TRUTH about Riverbend Club is that the apartments are decrepit and bug-infested. the managers are pricks and moving out is a death wish. if it's one of the best decisions you've ever made, i would like to know what other decisions you have had to contemplate.
