This is the most horrible place I have ever lived. I put in about 15 work orders for a plumbling problem that maintenance refused to come and fix, which causes us about a $200 water bill each month. When I confronted them about it, all of the work orders magically disappeared. I called in my own plumber and the problem was fixed the next day, however the maintenance guys claimed that they were really the ones who fixed it. Everytime I asked to speak to the owner, the property manager said she was out of town....for 2 months. Right. Also, they were constantly walking in my apartment unannounced, often early in the morning when I was sleeping or getting out of the shower. Stay away from this place, and if you already live here, keep all of your paper work, they WILL try to screw you.

P.S. Also, I see your post is from 7/2009. If you have *JUST* moved, it's not too late to SUE. The only "problem" is that if you don't have *PROOF* you made a "good faith" effort to communicate to the Office the Water Problems, then you don't have a case (your word against theirs). HOWEVER---a $200 bill is a SERIOUS PROBLEM (an OBVIOUS LEAK)---if you have Copies of your Bills (and you can prove you made a "Good Faith" effort to report this to the office---ie copies of cell phone bills calling the office number, a copy of a "work order", WHATEVER---(and they failed to fix it)---then you can sue for 3x TRIPLE!!! the amount you are out of pocket.
