I lived very happily in Riverbend for two years, but that's only because I'm not squeamish about bugs. There were TONS of them - especially house centipedes. Not many cockroaches, but every once in a while one would wander in. The staff was always nice and accommodating. The apartment had very few maintenance problems, but those it had were always fixed very quickly - within one to two days after calling in the order. The dishwasher does not work well - the dishes are always wet with particles collected in the water. There's no garbage disposal, so you have to be very careful what you put down the sink if you want to avoid odors. I always felt safe, even though there have been a few robberies - they now have a police patrol every night. Overall, it was an extremely pleasant experience.
