I would never move into royal oak again if my life depended on it

When I moved into the apt. I was friends with the gentlemen that leased the same apt I did prior to me moving in. They charged him for the kitchen floor and the carpet but did not replace it and then tried to charge me for it. The manager of the apartments is nosey and seems to only be about getting money out of people. My experience was terrible, they never replaced the heating and air screens. I had to fully paint the walls and steam clean the carpet and they expected this. Most apartments in athens take care of these task thereselves.

As the management of Royal Oaks we strongly disagree with the comments made concerning this gentlemen's apartment. As for the a/c filters in the apartment this is the tenants responsibility to change filters throughout the term of the lease, which is explained throughout the lease, multiple times. We change the filters prior to move in and once throughout the year. We do have a move in inspection form on this unit, turned in at the beginning of the lease which has no listing of damage to the kitchen floor. If he had listed any damage to the apartment it would have been fixed or this person would not have been charged at lease expiration. And as for the nosey comment that probably has to do with the fact this resident had an illegal pet in the apartment which also lead to the damage in the unit. This is a perfect example of what a move-in inspection form is for. If this had been the case you would seem to think that would have been documented. Joiner Management is a company that strives to make our move outs as easy and fair as possible. We did not require or ask the tenant to paint the unit before move out.They did that by their choice. Joiner Management has great pride in our work please stop by and check us out=)
