I have a different perspective b/c I did not rent through Parker. There are two or three units that are rented directly through the owner. These are the best kept. They have been redone beautifully and one even has hardwood flooring and tiled bathrooms at no extra cost over the lousy parker units.
The parking was a problem when the house next door decided to throw parties and park in our limited parking. There are two spots per unit and a total of 4 visitor spots. The only people towed were the drunkards from the house next door, which luckily moved away this year!
Security has never been an issue and the one time I did feel scared and called the police, the fire department sent someone and they were there in less than 5 minutes.

Overall, the 10 unit complex is nice and calm compared to the larger complexes. The location is terrific, the yard is well kept, the potholes have been filled (not very pretty, but still filled) and for the most part they are quiet except for rush week when the sororities sing the goofy songs.

I would definitely recommend Rutherford Commons units that are NOT rented through Parker...Parker units ARE bad and pricier.
