STAY AWAY!!!!!

I am currently writing this while the temperature in my apartment is 58deg. I have woke up 4 times so far w/o heat: 11/10/06, 11/20/06, 12/3/06, 12/8/06 and when I got home this evening, there was a note from maintenance stating that they had worked on the heat, yet there was no heat. They did leave me a space heater, so I won't freeze to death (it's supposed to get down to 17deg tonight).
The apartment I have is not even close to as nice as the unit I was shown. The show unit had a dish washer in it. However, I have to pay an extra $15/mo for a dish washer.
Update: It's now 4/8/07, it's 32deg outside, and the heat has gone out again.. for the sixth time. After the fourth time I wrote a letter stating that I felt the company was in default of the lease agreement and that I would like to get out of my apartment. The manager said that I wasn't giving them a chance and pointed out that the lease designates a 7 day window for repairs. It seams to me that the heating shouldn't be included in the same category as a burned out light bulb, but the law is the law, so I'm stuck. I am out of here as soon as legally possible.
