I don't even know where to start. I lived there for 2 years, one year with the old management and one with the new. As far as I could tell, there was no difference, except that it got even more impersonal when the new management came along. All the other things people have complained about happened to us- bugs, management extremely slow to answer repair requests, plus the water went out ALL THE TIME. Yes, I mean, NO WATER at all for hours at a time. The kicker came when I moved out though, and tried to get my security deposit back. First, I was guaranteed that they'd sent the checks and that it was in the mail. After a couple of months and still no check, I called to see what was going on and they told me that they didn't have a record of me ever even paying the security deposit. Thus, they'd lied to me before when they supposedly looked it up and told me that my check had been sent out. Then they somehow miraculously "found" the payment record when my dad called them (apparently hearing a male voice was enough to help them find the security deposit). That's just the short version, it took 3 months to finally get the check (when the lease guarantees the security deposit within 30 days of moving out), I was lied to, pushed aside, and treated like an annoyance when all I was doing was trying to stop them from stealing $200 from me. They violate so many landlord/tenant rules that they shouldn't be allowed to rent to people at all...just don't even try to live there, it's not worth your time, you'll regret it more than anything.
