Among the huge list of things wrong with this apartment (and complex), I came back from taking a test one day to find that a maintenance person let my dog out and chased him away in the woods when she tried to catch him (he's shy and was terrified out of his mind). The maintenance lady said she was leaving to get help, but never came back. I put up flyers and someone called me later that night saying they saw him. He came back completely infested with ticks (probably over 50 more tiny little wood ticks) and a few weeks later the maintenance lady drove by and commented how I got him back. He's fine now, but I have to keep him in my room to prevent the same thing from happening again.

As far as other things go, our power bill is HUGE. It spikes so much if we use any AC or heat that we went all year without running anything. The base electricity bill is still about $130. I've met some people here with normal bills, but one or two others will huge ones like ours. We contacted maintenance about this, broken windows, screens, etc. and they fixed the window, but that's it.

We had water outages a lot and one time our water was muddy for 4 or so days before they even tried fixing it.

Also, the washer is tiny and the dryer takes multiple cycles to dry a load.
