Inexpensive Option - but you get what you pay for.

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008
I lived in this complex for a year as a graduate student. I wanted an inexpensive option to live alone and found the Park to be an adequate solution. I was able to have a pet (the $300 fee is average around Athens), a dishwasher, air conditioning, and laundry facilities on site (the laundry room was completely redone while I lived there), which were my minimum requirements. These apartments are older - built around 1970 - so the quality is not excellent and things do break, but maintenance always came out within 24 hours, usually the same day. The office staff completely changed while I lived there, and the new staff was usually less than helpful, unfortunately. One thing that I appreciated about these apartments is that they were not completely full of students, so there weren't huge drunken frat boy bashes every weekend to deal with.
A few pros:
I got my full deposit back after moving with no hassles.
Inexpensive and convenient to the Alps Road shopping center, the mall, and UGA's north campus. Traffic never got as horrific as it can be on the east side.
And cons:
Very large complex, easy to get lost in the shuffle. Be proactive with management.
Old apartments built cheaply - watch your electric bill in the summer.
Bottom line: you won't get luxury at The Park, but what do you expect for the rent you're paying'
