I only subleased for a summer but I witnessed a burglary (in broad daylight) and a stolen car was abadoned next to my apt building. This place is run down and not very safe. You can do much better on the eastside- there's plenty of safe and cheap apartments on Cedar Shoals that aren't such slums.
