I've lived at Towne Club for three years mainly out of convenience. The location can't be beat, but that's what your paying for. The apartments (at least the un-renovated ones) are nothing special on the inside and the flaws often reveal themselves. The blinds were old and brittle (break very easily, and you have to pay), the oven is TERRIBLE, the sink is tiny. If you live in a flat, invest in some earplugs because you will hear a good bit of what goes on upstairs. Depending on who is working, the staff can either be very helpful or a major pain. I've heard horror stories about fees for moving out, but haven't had to deal with that yet. Overall, it's about what you'd expect from a college apartment: convenient, but not overly fancy. We probably stayed one year longer than we should have, but I'm sure there are worse places to rent.
Oh, and the pool is not very good. It's right next to the volleyball court, so it is full of sand and rarely cleaned despite people allowing dogs to swim in the water.
