I was new to the Athens area and my fiance and I were looking for somewhere affordable and we only had a few days in town to look for somewhere to live. We stumbled upon Waterbury and decided to move in.
The grounds are very neat and the property is attractive. The apartments are your typical modular housing units. And from the outside are well kept. When we moved in, we discovered that the pipes for the washer and dryer were leaking inside the wall and had flooded a large portion of the utility room. Maintenance came and fixed it but I did have a huge whole that they had cut out of my wall that I had to pull my cat out of several times before they covered with a screen and finally fixed it. The maintenance was ok, just slow. They have since hired a new maintenance person and needs are tended to much quicker.
The actual apartments are ok, the storage is wonderful! The biggest problem I had is that the units are very dark and I kind of started to feel claustrophobic after a few months.
The management is wonderful and very helpful. I would recommend living here if you need lots of storage and not a lot of living space.
