As a current tenant at Waterford Place I must say that I do have to agree with some of the complaints listed. However, instead of coming on here and "blowing steam" I went directly to the manager of Waterford. She assured me that she did understand my input and apologized for the problems I had. They evaluated my complaint and acted upon my comments. They increased security patrol throughout the community. They also have an Athens Clarke County police officer who patrols the area throughout the night who I see occasionally on my way home from downtown in the early morning hours. You know, many downtown communities have similar issues with trespassing by means of finding unwanted cans and bottles to recycle.
I understand Waterford Place has its downfalls every once in a while but the staff does seem to try very hard to address all resident issues. I would just encourage anyone that has an issue to speak with the management- they will investigate and resolve the matter usually in the most fair way.

Why would someone who lives happily here be browsing apartmentratings.com? Looks like the management is posting "5 star" postings here to skew what this place really is- a dump run by a DISHONEST manager.

This same response is on another site...this is without a doubt someone from the waterford office..this is hilarious and should give anyone an idea about how poorly run waterford is...
