The most important thing to know about these apartments is that not all of the units are owned by the same company. What does this mean' Hard to regulate parking and no pest control.

Parking - Most of the time, it is not a problem. There are plenty of spaces for residents and their guests. However, during football games, it can be a nightmare. A security guard is hired to prevent people from parking here, although he lets people park behind your car blocking you in completely'!' Also, during class times, students park here because it's free and the risk of being towed is low.

Noise - The residents are very quiet... too quiet. The only noises I ever here are the planes that fly overhead and the traffic from the busy road nearby.

Grounds - Okay, but nothing special. Although the maintenance crew likes to wait until the place is looking pretty trashy to clean up.

Safety - The neighborhood can be fairly shady. Just a few months after moving in, a girl was robbed at gun point pretty much right out in front of the complex. Another guy/girl was robbed at gunpoint just down the street a few weeks ago. A neighbor's apartment was robbed over the Christmas break. Although, if you live in an upstairs townhome, it would be pretty hard to break into the place... just keep your doors locked.

Construction - The apartments remain as they were 20 years ago when they were constructed. Everything is old and its really starting to show.

Maintenance - The one time I called them, they tried to charge me for their service. My neighbor's dead bolt on his front door had to be replaced, and maintenance put the lock on backwards with the screws exposed to the OUTSIDE of building!

Office Staff - After moving out and into another complex, I realized overall these people are really horrible. They recognize the inexperience of college students and completely take advantage of that. They were nice to my roommate and I when we signed the lease. Most other times, they seemed to act bothered we were even contacting them. Upon checkout, beware. They will charge you for anything. If this company operated anywhere other than a college town, residents would not put up with their crap.

Overall - Although the rooms are a good size and very convenient to campus and downtown, I cannot recommend this place. They are in desperate need of renovation and are way overpriced. There is a better alternative across the street. Not only are those apartments cheaper, but the staff is 100 times better.
