I have lived here since August'06. Where should I start on the numerous of complaints for 100 midtown, management is a joke. They never get anything done plus they make policies that go against the contract you sign. Never on the contract does it state your visitor s car needs a parking pass nor does it say you need to check them in. I thought everyone here is in college not high school. You should not have to get a parking pass for a visitor that s the whole reason for visitors parking it should be first come first serve. Parking as stated before is 80 dollars which is another joke. Although no one has said it people have had their cars broken into. Also during football and basketball season the parking deck spaces are sold to GT fans for parking for these sporting events. So any plans on having anyone over forget about it, it s impossible. Now recently they have eliminated half the visitor parking for the Chinese restaurant only. Rent is very overpriced for the furnishings. Everything is breaking down. After they fixed the pumps, when they pressurized the tubes they over did it and broke both toilets in my apartment. Its 99 dollars for utilities which include internet, cable (which they don't tell you that it is required to pay additional money to get both internet and the cable activated), phone (only one in the apartment in the main room). So basically you re getting ripped off entirely for those utilities. So now let s move onto the occupants of the apartments. They is always a unique smell of food in every hallway. Most of the residents go to a language institute which means they are foreign and hardly speak English and are very messy! Management does not pair you with the proper people if you do not have room mates. So far I have nothing in common with my other room mates which makes it very awkward. All the furnishings in the apartments are old and the carpet is junk. Overall the worst place I have ever lived. I regret making the decision to live in this hell hole. I am embarrassed to have any of my friends over and well it s impossible for them to come over because there are no visitors parking spaces open during certain hours.
