Not even 2 weeks have passed and again a notice of crime activity goes around...
I hope whoever is gonna move in has a crappy car, or else.... good luck!!
The people who wrote positive reviews on 4/20 must have had some real good stuff that day....
Remember:
1) decent apartments
2) management so-so
3) maintenance OK
4) security non-existent

This is very upsetting, and the letter we got felt like management is indifferent to the situation. Also, I usually use the phrase "a couple" to mean two, maybe three, but there have been many more break-ins than that.
Recently, management said that they were going to start towing cars that were parked in the deck without stickers. However, I continue to see many cars in the deck without parking decals and they are NOT parked in the specified visitor parking area on the 6th floor. Cars are not being towed, including the Hummers and other large car (Expedition?) that keep parking in the handicapped spots without handicap plates or decals.
Although management put in a new gate arm on the entry gate, it is broken nearly every other day. Cars just plow right through it. This morning the arm and the iron gate were both up, what good does that do?
Construction is starting on a new apartment property just West of here and also there should be some new apartments on the corner of 10th and Northside by Fall of 2008. As a resident of 1016 Lofts who stays here only because of the convenient location, I am so glad there are going to be some new, hopefully better managed properties, to choose from soon.
