I would say both the good reviews and bad reviews are right. The facilities, grounds, and apartments at 1050 Lenox Park are wonderful, but safety is DEFINITELY an issue.

The pool is a lot of fun in the summer and definitely the best pool around. Unfortunately it is not monitored very well, and there are a lot of people from the surrounding areas that come and use it. It is defintely not a "family atmosphere" on the weekends. I like it a lot, but if you have young children or you are older you may want to consider swimming else where. Also, the people using the pool on the weekends do not always clean up after themselves so the pool is closed for clean up and to re-adjust the water stuff from beer being spilled in the pool.

The maintenance crew is wonderful and they usually respond pretty quickly. I have had no problems with them. that apartments are also well insulated and you can rarely hear anything from the surrounding apts.

The property is pet friendly and there is a park right across the street with walking paths and a big field which is great if you have a dog. There are a lot of people though that do not pick up after their pets, but most are very courteous and follow the rules.

The girls in the office are great. They are very helpful and respectful and make a point to know what is going on in the community. But they are limited in what they can do because of their corporate office.

The alundry facilities are a joke, only maybe half the machines actually work and they are usually full.

Safety is definitely a problem. The gate does not work very often, and recently there have been A LOT of car break ins and burglaries. Last month 20 cars were broken into in the parking garages...windows smashed, grab what they could, and went. This has happened probably 4 or 5 times in the last couple of months, but the gates to the complex STILL don't work. If you don't keep anything valuable in your car then you don't need to worry, but if you have any type of satellite radio, sound system, navigation system, etc. watch out. The parking garages are well lit, but they could probably use a security camera system to stop the car break ins. It would also help if the "security" gates actually offered security.

Overall, 1050 Lenox Park is a nice complex with nice facilities but I wouldn't recommend living here mainly because of the safety concerns.

When you say car break-ins and burglaries are there any actual apartments broken into or is it just the cars?
