When I visited 1050 Lenox Park I immediately fell in love with the grounds. the location, and the pool.

After living there a couple months I could not wait to leave. My main concern was security. The security gates NEVER worked. My roommates car was broken into and her laptop from work was stolen. Her office tracked it being used and alerted the officers who took the report and NOTHING was ever done. The security officer and Dekalb police did not even follow up or try to recover the computer. Car break ins have happened so many times I wouldn't be surprised at this point if it wasn't an inside job because the leasing office and their corporate office do absolutely nothing to fix the problem.

In another incident, our neighbor was threatened by another resident who refused to keep his dog on a leash. She called the Courtesy officer, it took 2 days to even speak to someone and when he followed up with her he basically called her a liar. And even though the man who threatened her and his dog were a habitual problem in the complex, the leasing office made no attempt to remedy the situation, but was "kind enough" to break their lease so she could move somewhere she felt safer.

The grounds and pool are well maintained except they do not enforce the pet policies (see above) and their is dog poo everywhere.

The pool is gorgeous, but it is not easy to get a chair there especially on the weekends. I doubt anyone who lives there can actually use it. the comments listed before about it are all right on.

tell ur dumb roomate not to leave a freaking computer in her car. dumbass. also how is the community to blame if the police didnt get her computer back? clearly she was the one who put herself in that situation. typical young, spoiled rich kid.. blaming others for their problems. save ur whining.. residents like me are tired of hearing u complain all the time.. go cry to ur mommy

Above is a perfect example of what you will live with at 1050 Lenox Park...Low class slobs who can't speak English and have no respect for others.

I agree with the anonymous response above. Who leaves their computer in their car because they think they're invincible in Buckhead? Of course no area of town is completely SAFE, per say but what the hell can the leasing office do about it? Probably have you file a police report and go from there. If the people in that leasing office werent doing anything about security issues, why wouldnt you go to the property management company and file a complaint, and im sure they would make necessary changes in order to keep their jobs. I know the leasing staff over there and i have a very hard time believing they did NOTHING about that. Go live in Midtown, where there are thefts every single day at the same properties.
