I decided to write a review about 1050 Lenox Park because when I was researching the complex, it seemed like all the reviews were negative. So far my experience has been great. I have lived there for about two months with no problems. The grounds are well maintained and there are doggy clean up bags all over the place for owners. As far as security, the gates were fixed last week and all working. We have not experienced any break ins to cars since I have been here but if we did it wouldn't surprise me too much since this is Atlanta! My past experience with break ins are with people who leave computers, nav units, or ipods in plain sight in there car. If you clean your car out I don't think you'll have a problem. Also, the parking decks are very well lit at night and you don't feel in danger anywhere.
Allyson and Marci were very helpful in the leasing office. I have had two problems in my apartment, one with the washer hookups and another with a faulty outlet, and both were fixed by maintainance the next day. So no complaints there. As for people driving fast in the parking deck, welcome to Atlanta. Have you ever driven on I-75'
I've lived in many apartment complexes in Atlanta and Houston and 1050 Lenox Park is a good all around place. It's not the best nor is it as bad as a lot of people on this site make you believe. It does have one of the best pool scenes in the city so during the summer months expect there to be large crowds at the pool. It does tend to be a younger crowd so just expect that if you live here. If you don't like that, there are plenty of other good apartments close to this one with much more subdued pool scenes. But there are a lot of attractive people in this complex if you want scenery.
I also live in the back of the complex where you can hear the Marta and cargo trains. The Marta noise is minimal but the freight trains can be somewhat loud. Honestly though, you don't even notice them after a while and the freight trains only come through a few times a day.
Anyway, I think most people on this site have unrealistic expectations of what to expect when living in an apartment complex so here's an opinion from someone who's done it for a while. I think this place is a good all around complex and you certainly can't argue with the convienance of it's location. You have everything you could possibly need with in about 2 miles of the complex. Hope this helps.

I AGREE. I lived there for 9 months, without any theft incident regarding cars, that I am aware of, the problems I viewed were poor drivers who weren't patient enough to wait for the iron gates to open and smashed into them. The complex is immaculately kept, the staff and management most responsive and courteous. From my experience a professional group of people live there; few families with children...although I'm uncertain of the statistics.
There is the MOST SPECTACULAR PARK across the street, Lenox park, it has a pond with a path surrounding it, tucked away behind the Architectually beautiful Bell South building. Close the the BEST SHOPPING in Atlanta, Lenox Square and.... Great Restaurants abound, and if you are Christian, Peachtree Road is lined with Churches, my favorite in Atlanta is Buckhead Church.
