I had no major complaints about this place until I had to extend my lease one extra month. (I am relocating to a new city one month after my current lease expires). My roommate and I currently pay about $1200/month for our 2 bedroom apartment. We were sent a notice that we will be forced to pay $1550 to stay one extra month!! $350 mark-up?!?!?!
What kills me is that newly leased apartments are going for $1100 (less than what I currently pay) but Equity is going to punish me with $350 in fees for staying an extra month.
I second everything people have written about the garage and safety. The garage will keep you up all night due to it's extremely poor construction and the cars racing around like it's the Daytona 500. Safety is a major concern. We receive weekly notices about car break-ins, car theft, and even stabbings. The gate is a joke - it couldn't keep out a flea since it never works and you can drive around it. Usually about 5 cars will pull thru with one swipe of the access car.
Take you money and your time (b/c the leasing staff is completely incompentent and efficient) someplace else!
