I've lived at 1660 for almost a year and I will NOT be renewing my lease. I hate going into the management office, due to the total incompetence of the staff. Good luck if you have to talk to the girl up front, because chances are, she is just going to answer your question with a cocked head and spaced out stare. I live with my boyfriend and do not feel safe going out of the apartment alone at night (or early in the morning) because there are so many sketchy individuals living in the complex (not to mention the monthly car break-ins that happen - EVEN WITH A SECURITY GUARD!) I would not live here if you are a single female! EVERYTIME there is a break-in/theft we get a letter from management stating the security cameras were not working at the time. The gate is broken a lot, not that it is much of a deterrent anyway, because multiple cars can get through (and do) every time the gate opens.
The pool is nice, and generally kept pretty clean. The only problem is that since it is surrounded by buildings, you have to follow the sun around the deck, because there is a lot of shade.
As I said before, we will not be renewing our lease. We're going to be finding somewhere much nicer with a far more competent staff and better security.
