Yes, I've only lived in one complex but I'm a 21 year old college student - a girl, and I have never felt that my safety was being compromised or that I was out of place at all. I drive a nice car and have never had anything stolen or dented. I have many friends that live here and we all love it. Families with dogs and college kids from Tech and State are probably the loudest people here! Do not be afraid! We all love it here!
