I moved in 8 months ago. I read the reviews and figured they were not too bad. Like some other reviewers, I felt safe here, etc., since I personally never experienced a problem. The complex doesn't feel shady at all, so you can walk around at night etc., and you feel safe. Until something happens to YOU! Every month, I get at least one notice on my door that there has been a car broken into. Some months, I get two. Last month, two apartments got broken into, and things were stolen. I'm writing this, because last night I came home to find that someone had tried to jimmy the locks on my door. I live right next to the parking deck in plain view of everyone. Even my alarm sensor has been broken. I went to the office, and was told since they didn't get in, there's nothing that can do, and to fix my alarm, I have to call the alarm company myself and resolve it. "Do I have to pay''" "That's between you and the alarm company." WTF!!! literally 5 of us relocated here for work, and we all stayed at this place to commute etc., plus we didn't know anyone in town. 2 have broken leases and left, 2 are in the proces, and i am immediately going to do the same. one girl had her neighbour leave his trash outside her door. 2 others had LOUD music being played repeatedly by neighbours, and office complaints did nothing. (walls are very thin, so IF you have bad neighbours, good luck! Also, windows are not good quality, so they let the cold in like they're open in winter - plus the noise of the train right across the street at 3am). The other girl was hit on at the pool by the maintenance man!!! Last month, the fire alarm was pulled TWICE, once at 3am on a week day, and the other around 6am on a Saturday. Security patrol does nothing but talk on their cellphones all night just walking around once in a while. This place looks and feels great, but the probability of an incident happening is higher than normal. Look elsewhere.
