I have read all of these reviews, and would like to say that it appears that a large number of them have been written by a person that has lived a very sheltered life, and have never lived inside of the City limits, or out of their parents nest.
Suburbanites beware and take heed, things are a little bit different when you grow up and get your own apartment and move to the big city, you have to clean up after yourself, be considerate of others and not throw trash all over the place just to expect it to be lifted off the ground like magic, that goes for all you that smoke, you wanna smoke'' fine, your biz, but it becomes OUR biz when you trash our property and cause a fire hazard to us all, so can you find it in your heart to please take caution where your thump your cig butts as they stink, are dangerous, and are as nasty to look @ as they are to smell.
* I used to smoke, so I understand your need to self medicate, it is comforting to do, and very hard to quit, but in time you will stop, when you really want to and realise your money can be better spent on other things in life *
till that day comes, please don't toss your cig butts, and trash from your fast food drive-thru windows you frequent onto our home's property and parking deck.
Is your Mama coming over to clean up after you still'
At 1660 you have great location, great balconies, and grounds galore, W/D in each unit, a great workout room, pool, and various other wonderful things that you take for granted.
Living on one of the main arteries in Atlanta, on Peachtree Rd. in a fast growing city such as Atlanta, there are going to be break-ins, noise, trash, etc.. BUT that is where everyone comes into play. This is OUR home, and we ALL can help out with keeping it clean, nice and safe and a wonderful place to come home to.
If you smoke, get an ashtray please, and do not throw off your balcony, or out the window, you want a real fire' Do you realise how dangerous that is'
We all see ALL of you lazy types when you toss your cigs onto the pine straw in the courtyards, or on to the parking deck, or in the elevators.. you think that is a nice way to treat your home' Our home' Do you do that in your apartment' I would think not. You are just asking for a fire.
**You also look like a lazy oof**
Also, just so you know, there are eyes and ears everywhere on this property, and everything is seen and heard, so those of you and/or your friends visiting that are doing illegal things just beware, and YOU know who you are, the APD, the Narcotics Unit could be just waiting for you to make your next move....so, you better beware! It will not be tolerated here, AT ALL!
While I am spilling the beans, listen up to this, STOP speeding through the parking deck, are you in a hurry' Did you over sleep, you think you are gonna beat the Atlanta traffic' There is no reason to speed in and out of the parking deck, or around the curves to each floor in the deck.
If a child, someone's dog, or Granny, or the ground crew, or say if ANYONE @ all comes out from between 2 cars, would you be able to stop in time to avoid hitting them' Would some of you even care'
The office does all they can do, they are wonderful and will listen to your problems and do their best to help out, just remember though if you would take the time to "talk" to them and not yell @ ANYONE in the office, or on this planet when you need to communicate, or have a problem and needs some help, you just may find that life is a little bit nicer and easier on everyone, even yourself. I have heard some tenants be very rude and loud when coming in with a problem when I have been in there to pickup a package, and I wonder what has happened so terrible in their day that they have to address the staff that way'
I have lived here at this property 6 years, and in Midtown about 12 years and I can tell you, that living @ 1660 is one of the nicer properties in this area, and the staff is super!
Living in town can be what you make it, so zip your lip with the negative talk, grow up, try to be polite, keep your eyes and ears open to your suroundings as you should living in a big city, or as in life in general, and just try to make the best of today in your life, and just know that living @ 1660 is and can be more rewarding than you know, if we all unite and make it that way.

I have to concur with 1980wildcat. These apartments aren't that bad. I'm a returning renter to 1660 Peachtree and I'm pleased with my choice to return. I did read these reviews before leasing, but took a chance and have been quite pleased. An apartment complex is only as good as the tenants want it to be and management can only do so much outside of maintenance and upkeep of the property. The key to apartment living is courtesy among neighbors. I live in the 7000 building and the only issue I have is my upstairs neighbors on the 4th floor. Whoever this person is can't walk like a normal person but has to stomp around in their apartment. Do I blame management for this or the renter who doesn't care someone is living below them? I could get upset and start stomping around my apartment which would only cause the person living below me to get upset and either contact management or start being a A-hole to other neighbors. See how dis-courtesy neighbors can start a vicious cycle? I think people in an apartment complext, not just 1660, should realize that walls aren't sound-proof and you ain't living with your momma so grow-up and treat your neighbors with some respect. In closing, FOLKS slow down in the parkind deck seriously. It's just a matter of time before someone causes some serious damage by hiting a car, a steel beam, or a person because the posted 10mph is too slow for apprx. 3 minutes. Again, grow-up folks. |

I live here at 1660 and have for 3 years. I am constantly amazed at the lazy deadbeats who leave their trash laying by the trash shoot. I am further amazed that the debris is seen scattered about 3,4 sometimes 5 days at a time. What kind of a loser is so lazy they can't simply deposit trash where it belongs? Also, driving through the parking deck with stereo so loud the windows on the building shake?? One car in particular is ridiculous. I wonder how the leasing agents explain to potential residents as they are showing the grounds why empty pizza boxes, empty twelve packs of Bud light and trash bags are laying by trash shoot? Supposedly there is a $50.00 fee for leaving trash around. By the look of the parking lots, this policy has not been implemented or the residences here have $$$ to throw away, literally. I agree with the above posts. This place has the potentai to be damn good if not for a few lazy people who ruin it for the rest of us.
