I've been very unhappy with the leasing office at 1660 and their lack of work or concern. The people that work in the office are hardly ever there and when they are the door is locked half of the time. I had an interview one morning and was trying to get into the office to pick up a package that contained my suit for the interview. I went down there at least 3 times between 9:00 - 10:30, only to see the office employees sitting on the sofas having coffee and chatting, with the door locked. I finally stared at them until they let me in. RIDICULOUS. Also, if you are expecting a package, do not expect to get a note on your door letting you know that it has arrived. ever. The staff here is terrible. TERRIBLE.
To make matters even worse, MY CAR ALONG WITH SEVERAL OTHERS WAS BROKEN INTO. Windows busted out, everything. Apparently the "security gate" is completely useless, along with the security cameras that are supposed to be throughout the parking deck. I spoke with the office and told them that I was not happy about the entire situation and they acted like they could care less.
On a side note, the one entrance to this place is the worst spot for traffic ever. Honestly I cannot say one good thing about this complex. Do not live there. gkZ41df9CgXQPfm8K2A7

I agree about the packages thing!!!!! And I'm so pissed about the security gate but for opposite reasons. I do not have an instate number and neither does my roommate. If we forget our white card that lets us in, then we are screwed. YEah, we can wait to follow people in, but then we get yelled at by security people. I'm not allowed to let guests in w/o walking all the way to the ONE entrance to the complex. Plus, the leasing office told me that they were looking into adding out of state numbers. The next time I called--about 5 days later they said they had NEVER ever been thinking about that...so go figure

I have to say that all the last two negative posts about the leasing office are true. First impressions in a place you want to rent or be soon to be called home are important. I went with a friend to check the place since is very centric, not only the leasing office was open at the hour that states, when a woman finally showed up she was in total attitude of "aggg what you want to know??". Then she got on the phone with a tenant that apparently had a problem with another tenant and the faces that she was putting on and then she came out with this comments about the tenants. When my friend asked about the security issues, she just said that there were two Atlanta policemen living in there (well what that has to be with the apartment? they work for the city not for 1660), when we asked about the cameras she said "darling I have no idea where they at...I mean I will have to walk but I don't know that". Is this woman is for real? Was a blond but can't recall her name. Anyway apparently she was making me a favor showing the apartment, she lives there but for sure she does not care about the rest of people. There are some people that should just quit their jobs and make a favor to mankind. And I have to say it was HER in particular. I went that day to another two other Equity Apartments and what a difference, I did comment them about that.
