New Mountainous Speed Bumps

There aren't too many things about this property that make me unhappy. For the most part, my roommate and I have been pretty happy here. However, some recent happenings are pushing us to consider moving.
So the community has had a large number of break-ins since the economy has taken a hit. The Leasing Manager decided to put in 4 large speed bumps at the entrance gate. Literally at the entrance gate. They are only about 2 feet apart. About a good 10 inches up from the ground. They are trying to put an end to the tailgating because the manager believes that this is how people are getting in. I agree that the tailgating and the break-ins need to end, but those speed bumps are insane to say the least. And, my car is very small so I have to go over them very slowly. A friend of mine also has a small car and when she swiped her card, the gate stayed open, but the arm went down. She had to get out, swipe again, and run back to her car. Well, with this gate sometimes it gets confused. So when it finally opens for her, she has to continue to inch over the speed bumps. Because of how slow she had to go, the gate hit the back of her car causing damage. When the manager was informed by the many tenants that they are not please with the 4 gigantic new speed bumps, she does nothing. In fact, the speed bumps where her idea. If you get to do any business with her, you might get the sense that she is a control freak. That she is. She tries to cover her tracks and keep herself out of trouble. However, the first time you meet her, she is all smiles and very nice. Once you sign your lease, don't ask her for anything or you will get your head handed to you on a plate. If you want to take your business here, ask for Natashia, she is very very sweet and very nice even after you have moved in.
Please ignore the post before mine. That was the maintenance guy. He has been living here forever and is very friendly with the manager. He is the manager of the crew who maintain everything and we were told at the beginning he has been living here since the complex was built. So therefore, he can leave a rating since he is also a resident. And he was the one who installed the speed bumps. That's right, the leasing manager didn't even go through a company!
Like I said, most of our stay here has been nice, however, the speed bumps are an issue. You go over 2 right in front of the gate, 1 under the gate, and another right after that. It feels like you are going off roading. I understand the need to take certain measures to keep people out, but please 4 speed bumps. It is just too much! Oh, and we (my roommate and I) are moving.

Nice, really nice. I guess you have nothing better to do then make fun of someone you don't even know. But that's ok, what goes around comes around. And, this person might not have been there when they were installed, but I was. Greg installed them all by himself. He might have had someone watching him, but it was definitely Greg.

Your an idiot. Go to the office ask for the invoice for the implementation of the speed bumps, if you are observant of your community you would have recognized the company came out and installed them per Equity corporate. Maybe the reason you don't like the speed bumps is because your fat ass is making your car bottom out when they go over the bump.

You aren't an idiot. Everyone hates speed bumps and there is no reason why speed bumps like this should be right at the gates or in the apartment parking deck. They arent the answer to break ins. Maybe if they actually monitored the deck with the cameras like they are supposed to they could cut down on the break ins. Everyone knows the cameras don't work. Most of them aren't even positioned correctly to see the vehicles in the deck. The cameras are just there to show to potential residents to make them feel assured. Thats how everything is with this complex although it isn't as it seems.
