Never

I will never rent from an equity community ever again. The staff at 1660 is horrible. Be very careful when renting here. They will lie to your face and once you sign you are unimportant to them and a waste of their time. Anytime you have a problem or even enter the office you are last priority, after all they are concerned with getting other people sucked in. They will literally avoid looking at you, hang up on you or lock the door as you are trying to enter. My bills were outrageous and I and my roomate even attempted to discuss this with management as we thought something was wrong with my apartment and both of us were rejected and told that "everyone's bills were high everywhere." There is no reason why sewage and water should cost $100/mo. Sorry, that is not normal. I didn't have problems with break ins or neighbors, but the staff and bills were enough to make me hate living there. If you have a pet simply don't tell them. They will charge you outrageous fees which are nonrefundable and they will say they have to replace the carpet no matter whether they do or don't after you move and charge you for that as well. You won't have to worry about them coming in your apartment and finding out, because thats too much effort for them. Also, to get maintenance to come fix something you have to call multiple times and you won't get money like they say they will give you for having to wait over a week. I had a toilet that was constantly running for weeks-which caused our bill to be extremely high that month and was not reimbursed a penny. Also, the business center is just a small room with two computers that hardly ever work. I caught a guy watching porn on one. ...wonder why they don't work' Also, when your lease is up they will charge you a higher rent if you want to stay even if you've paid every month on time. Shouldn't they want good customers to stay' No, they say that inflation causes your rent to go up $2/300. All in all, some people may not have had such bad experiences there, but I can tell you that I hate this place and wouldn't take the time to write this if I didnt. I would never rent from there again unless they changed management companies and got a whole new staff.
