This is a well-kept secret among the many condos in Buckhead...there are actually some rental complexes which won't set you back an arm and a leg! This complex is one of them. When I moved in, I got a 2-bedroom, 1 bath (1000 sq. ft.) for $699 a month! Of course, that went up, but right now I'm still paying under $800 for it.
=========================================== < Walking distance to Publix * Lots of restaurants nearby * Close to the Buckhead clubs * On the bus line (#23) and two miles south of Lenox * Great Buckhead address
CONS: * No leasing office (the leasing office is down the street at The Darlington @ 2025 P'tree) * Slow maintenance staff (since they're not on the premises) * Lots of screaming kids (you're close to a school, and there are a LOT of kids in the neighborhood * Proximity to other complexes (granted, it's the city, but you are less than 10 feet away from the windows of another complex, so if you like peeping toms, go ahead!) * The club crowd (the complex has open parking, so lots of Buckhead clubbers will come and park and leave their trash and be loud and...you know. The usual.) * Most of your neighbors don't/won't speak English (for real.) * Paper-thin walls (I live next to a record producer, so imagine my horror) * Many Darlington graduates (in other words, lots of ghetto folks, loud music, drugs, etc. After all, the properties share a leasing office.)
So if you work long hours during the week and are gone on the weekends a lot, then this place is great!
