As a concerned resident and pet owner - upon reading the comments regarding the rat poison, I became extremely concerned so I went and spoke to the management office personally.

I was told that there was no rat poison found on the property.

I asked them why they didn't pay
this residents vet bill and they showed it to me
it did not indicate anywhere on it that this residents dog was treated for any kind of rat poison.

So management said this is why they didn't pay for it.

This resident was not able
to prove any of his/her accusations.
The management company assured me that the pest control company always follows guidelines governed by the state of Georgia.
I called and spoke w/ the pest control personally and they confirmed this as well.

I was very relieved to hear this.

I'd also like to mention that since I've been a resident here I love it.

Management has made tremendous improvements since I moved in 2 years ago.

They remodeled the clubhouse, business center & conference room, they put in all new fitness center equipment and overall the quality of the property has gone way up.

I will definitely be renewing my lease and staying for at least another year.

As the pet owner of the dog who picked up the rat poison I can assure you there was rat poison. My dog was treated at Pets are People too on April 22. I had removed the poison from my dog's mouth. They induced vomitting at the vet. Since they did not find evidence that he ate the poison they did not put him thru the K shots. On the invoice is reference to the rat poison and the dangers. I agree that the pest control company did not put the poison there or it was acidental. More than likely someone intentionally wanting to harm a pet put the poison there. The fact that management did not want to check the area for any other poison or admit to a problem puts all pets at risk.

I find it interesting that you were able to call the pest control company since management refused to give me their number. They told me it was not possible for them to give out the number of the pest control compay. Without my permission management gave out my cell number to the "pest control" company and they called me. If you have the number to the pest control company please post it here so that I can call them and verify the information given to me from the man who called me.

I saw the maintenance supervisor in the parking lot earlier today and he said they did in fact walk the property and looked very closely near the dog walk areas and throughout the entire property to insure there was no rat poison. He said they didn't find anything. I didn't get the phone # to the pest control company through management, they told me the name of the company and I looked up their phone # myself and called. The name of the company is Clemtech. It sounds like they did everything they were supposed to and the pest control company seemed very knowledgable. They said they've been the pest control company for 5 years and they were very thorough in their explanation of how they treat for pests. From what I've seen so far, seems like management didn't do anything wrong here.
