Plenty on this board written about management. How do they keep their jobs' They really need to upgrade!
With different management this might be an ok place. Still has poor workmanship, high electric bills, trash, cars get broken into, noisy, questionable neighbors with the homeless people often greeting you as you try to get in the complex and of course the gate won't be working...

Obviously this is someone that doesn't know anything about city living. You live downtown in a major metropolitan city what did you expect roses and lillies?
If you're so unhappy then move to the subarbs where you belong because the last time I checked the gate was working fine and homeless people are all over downtown approaching you. If you have a problem w/ that why don't you write the mayor instead of wasting your time putting comments on here that won't solve anything. 450 has the lowest crime rate compared to many properties in the same area so the next time you run your mouth, why don't you check the statistics first.

^^^^^Sounds like management is quite supportive and friendly...em.^^^^^ I definitely think I'll pass. Sadly, I was about to move into this community. I even bounced on my deposit. After visiting property like 10 times at various times of the day and week (night, midday, morning, weekend, holiday, weekdays, etc.)I've come to the conclusion that that place is out of control. There are like 40 homeless people circling the gates of that community on all sides at all times of the day like their doing a seance or something. Inside the gates are nice, but MAN, I can't imagine coming home to something like that after a hard stressful day at work--just doesn't say RELAXATION. And the parking...let's be for real. I ain't having my guests walk that far to find a place to park when they come to visit. Reasonable rent for that part of Atlanta, but when you look at the downsides of the property, at least in my head, it just doesn't add up.

DURING MY TIME THERE, 450 HAD DRUG BUSTS, DRUG MURDERS, HOME INVASIONS, BURGLARIES, ETC.ETC. CALLING THE MAYOR WONT SOLVE POOR MANAGEMENT PROBLEMS. WHEN I 1ST MOVED THERE, MANAGEMANT WAS GREAT...IT WAS A GUY...BUT THEN AN -------- LADY TOOK OVER AND THE PLACE WENT TO HELL IN A HANDBASKET. GO ASK ANYONE WHO LIVES THERE NOW, IF YOU CAN FIND ANY! tHE PLACE LOOKS LIKE A DESERTED MOVIE SET! YES, I AM TAINTED, BECAUSE I LIVED THERE, BUT I AM TELLING THE TRUTH!

I lived there for about 2 years up until last Sept. All in all, it was a good deal for the money. I had one of the 2 br townhomes with 2 car garage, on the INTERIOR. That makes a world of difference since we didn't have windows facing the street. Outside of the complex is hell and as bad as all the comments posted here. Someone needs to bomb the f-ing shelter and the nearby motel (really just another shelter). Or do random drivebys until the f-ing addicts and drug dealers stop messing up an otherwise great location. I used to walk to work and school, south of the complex, and at times, considered purchasing a gun or Taser. The homeless line up outside for the free meals and I've had to step over more than a couple. If you plan to only drive in and out of this fort, really, you'll be fine. Inside the complex was actually cool and usually well-kept. I do not think the flats are worth it, because of the parking situation, but the townhomes are okay if you're gonna have 1 guest park in your driveway. My neighbors were generally cool and a diverse mix (alternative/straight/black/white/other). From time to time, there were small influxes of college kids and some biker kids, but not to where it messed up the whole place. My neighbors grilled out during the summers, we all walked our dogs and chatted outside, and folks kinda looked out for each other. . . and stray homeless who may have ventured inside the gates ;-)
Management . . .are okay, but just okay. The ----- chick, ----, I dunno if she's still there, but yes, alot of the younger rah rahs moved in when she came onboard. But, in fairness, she also started resident parties at the clubhouse with free food and drink. (The food was actually catered and full open bar.) The AC units break often and the maintenance guys were pretty good, but overworked.

I have lived her for a year and a half and so far the only problem I have had was when I moved in the place was not ready. The closet door was still leaning up against the wall and the carpet and flooring was outdated. Well the manager was the guy that was there before ---- I think his name was Mike, and he gave me a Publix grocery gift card and replaced my kitchen floors before I had a chance to get upset about the condition of the apartment. I guess it didn't take much to appease me and I have lived in college dorms for so long I am used to roughing it. I have never seen the homeless people inside the gates but I see them on the back side all the time and I have a window that faces the homeless shelter so I guess thats why my rent did not increase. Overall the place is ok especially since i drive a nice car and I love the garage. If I can find another townhouse like this though I will probably move once I have finished my job training.
