I lived in 450 for two and a half years during which time I had very few problems with the managment. I paid all my bills and rent on time and even picked up after my dog (which is more than most residents do). During my time there my main problems were that the gates were constantly broken, thereby allowing all the homeless, drug addicts access to your property, vehicles, etc. The other issue was with maintanence men coming into your apartment unannoucned and when you were not there, so who knows what they were doing'' The reason for this post however is that the real problems began when it was time to move out! After being told by the management at the leasing office that we did NOT need to provide written notice and that it was understood by all parties involved that we had a set move out date, low and behold this was not the case. Upon moving out we received a bill for just under one thousand dollars and quickly contacted the office to discuss this bill. It took us ONE month to get anyone to call us back and this was only after we sent a certified letter. When we did get a response it was in written form and simply said we owed this money and they weren't going to discuss this any further. When we requested a copy of our lease we were told "Oh, we will send that right over", but after a week of not getting our lease I contacted them and was basically told "You aren't getting it". Then, out of nowhere they send a collections agency after us''' All we wanted was someone to discuss this issue with us and provide us with a copy of our lease to in fact prove what they were saying was true. All in all, with all of the places to live in Atlanta I would stay as far away from this one as possible! In the relatively short time that we lived there, we had multiple neighbors with none of them staying more than six months and we saw the gradual decline of the property, with it eventually becoming a ghost town. The management stinks, they lie and are deceitful and don't own up to thier mistakes. Live somewhere else...anywhere else...you will be saving yourself a whole lot of trouble!

Unless you know every single person living in every single unit it is ill-advised (to say the least) to condemn the original author for talking about non-residents when it is highly unlikely that you could definitively refute his or her claim. In addition, it is extremely naive for anyone to state that these maintenance men (or anyone for that matter) would "never" do anything... You REALLY don't know what you're talking about if you honestly believe that to be the case, and unless every one of them is in your family you really shouldn't be pointing fingers yourself. And (s)he CAN blame the leasing company for failing to provide a lease because it is actually the law for them to do so... Although then I'd wonder why this resident didn't know that in the first place... Regardless, after a given amount of time of keeping tenants under the same (albeit renewed) lease I find it highly irresponsible of the apartment community to allow the situation to escalate as we're being told it did.

Well, I've been living there for about 7 months and it has been nothing but pleasant but then again, I'm hardly ever home in the day to see what goes on all day long. It's quiet. Very peaceful and I was fortunate enough to get a skyline view. It's a beautiful sunrise. I also love the fact that it is literally 1 minute driving distance to Downtown. Very convenient to all interstates. It's decent for what it is. On a side note, I don't believe that you can TRUST any management of leasing with YOUR money. Even though the office said you didn't have to give a written notice, I would have done it for good faith. Those people only care about getting their commision (which I believe is a part of that deposit. If anything, I will take from this that when I am ready to move out, I will give them a written notice and keep up with my lease. Most rental properties are already upset that they have to refill your unit and that ultimately, their company is losing money.
