Central in Buckhead, in an area being rapidly redevleoped. 55 Pharr will be leveled in 3-5 years, without question. Meantime, it would be a great place to rent from one of the current owners. You should look for ads in Creative Loafing, and on Craigslist or other local sites. A 2br will go for about $1000/mo, a 1BR maybe $750. Roommate situations are also popular at 55 Pharr. (I've owned my unit six years now and have had two roommates during that time.) Pet friendly, pool, with cabana rooms, walking trails, back parking lot (always a space available) and the parking is gated. Heavily --- male community. Older complex (built 1957) but in pretty good shape. No onsite management, though, so if your toilet blows up or electric range stops working, well, you're on your own.
