Well, I?ve read each of the other reviews on this property and I have to admit my experience has not been that great either.



It?s really unfortunate for this property to be managed so poorly and to have such low quality, almost non-existent maintenance.



I?ve been here for almost two years, my lease is not up yet, & I?ve already signed a lease with another property, because I can?t get out of here fast enough.



The apartments floorplans are phenomenal, but that?s about all I can say on behalf of the Avalon, other than the prices, but please keep in mind that you get what you pay for!!!



I have had the most unbelievable experiences since I?ve lived here...1) My roommate & I went to Publix (grocery store across the street) & was gone for all of 45 minutes. Upon our return home neither of our keys would unlock our door! Apparently, the door knob was so old it just stopped working. Naturally, it was approximately 5:30 PM & the office was closed, leaving us to call a locksmith to come out & give us a new door knob! Management never apologized for the HUGE inconvenience of having to sit outside for an hour with our groceries, having to pay $160 for a locksmith, or not being available when we needed them.



2)Our neighbors are soooo loud that you can literally feel the bass vibrations when you are siting on the couch in our living room. We?ve written numerous letters, called and complained, called the police, spoken to our neighbors & anything else you can think of to resolve the issue and management has done absolutely NOTHING to help us in this matter! Over a year later, we still hear our neighbors music over our television!



3)My closet rail (the rail you put hangers on) has collapsed three times! First it took them about 3 weeks to fix it, than after the 1st attempt to repair (half-ass job) the rail collapsed again about 3-4 weeks later - they came out to fix it again, but this time their efforts were so poor, the rail collapsed two days later. It is now a week later and my rail is still not fixed!!!



I could go on & on about why you should not live in this community (parking is horrible, nothing ever gets fixed, and neighbors are a nightmare), but I?ll stop here. However, I will leave you with this...If I had it to do all over again, the amount of money I?ve saved because of the low rent rate has not AT ALL been worth the problems I?ve had to deal with since I?ve been here!



In all honesty, at the Avalon, you don?t even get what you pay for!!!
