I normally do not write reviews, but I have to say how much I like my apartment complex. After reading some of these reviews you would think the complex is a dump...it is far from it. I have only had very positive experiences sinced I October 2006. Although the staff has changed, I still receive the same professionalism and they are very quick to handle any maintenance issues. The townhouse is very spacious and I love that this is a deck on the first and second floor. I am very pleased with the staff and property.
Now to address some of the comments regarding crime. Crime has increased all over, Sandy Springs is not immune to it. I have received several notices from the property regarding breakins as well as tips to avoid them. There is not much the propery manager can do to prevent breakins. All I can say is...RENTERS INSURANCE. I have great neighbors that look out for me and I in turn look out for them. Due to the increase in crime all over Atlanta, I have been more aware of locking my doors and being watchful of my surrounding.

All I can say is....You Must Be Stupid. No one wants their privacy invaded, nor do they prefer to fear that whomever broke into their apartment will come back while they are sleeping. You must delusional or work for Harbor Group.
In Addition, the noise level intolerable. Good for you to have your neighbors watch out for you, where were they or you during the break ins? If you really want something to watch, watch me move away from this crime ridden, noisey property with lousy management. I can not wait until my lease is up!
By the way, if this property is so great, why did you give them such a low rating? I rest my case.

Obviously this person who wrote the review today has not had their apartment broken into yet. I would love to read their review after their own apartment is broken into. I am pretty sure the perspective would change drastically concerning, management's denial of having any responsibility to the security of the apartments/tenants, not one security company will install new systems, not having the option to move to a more secure place without paying thousands of dollars in fees, etc. I really like the location but this place is not safe and I think the residents deserve some form of protection besides calling the police after someone has broken into your house. Renters Insurance is good for material losses but can it replace proactive security measures such as gates, duty patrol, alarm systems, or management concern?

I would have to agree with anonymous. The management CANCELLED the contract with the alarm system company and has failed to provide an alternative DESPITE the breakins. There are things that they can do. They have someone that drives around to put bright orange stickers on cars if the car has a half flat tire. I don't know who this mystery person is but maybe they should hire someone to patrol the property during the day. I am not saying this place is a dump because for the most part, I am happy here but there is much more they can do.

For the person that call me stupid, kiss my ass! That's your opinion and yes I have had my car broken into. Instead of complaining, move at the end of your lease. Crime and break ins are every where. No one is responsible for protecting you, but you. I agree with the last comment...you have the option of purchasing your own security sytem or better yet, moving. There are several happy residents that continue to live on the property. Your opinion is your opinion...but you are such an ass for calling someone stupid because I like where I live and do not agree with your negative comments. Oh by the way, you dumb ass, I gave them a great rating, that's the average...remember this, reading is fundamental!

you people are so ignorant! omg i cant stand it. if you think this is the only property with crime you are mistaken. i went up to the city of sandy spring police department bc i was concerned about the break in s too. the office staff told me bc of fairhousing they couldnt go into it. so i did my own research. i went to the police department and the detective told me that arrest were already made and the break ins have stopped at our complex. THEN he told me of other surrounding properties that have had SHOOTINGS and breakins aswell. I realized that it wasnt just our property. NOW to the retard about the alarm company- you can have Brinks or ADT come in and install one for you? I am so tired of everyone thinking they deserve this and that. No one owes you anything. Its ignorant people like you that get broken into because you dont get off you lazy a$$ and do something about it. Get your own security system instead of expecting the property to do it for and get an extra lock. Stop being vulnerable!
